Dos Pueblos-the New York-Tipitapa Sister City Project is a non-profit organization that partners with COMPALCIHT, a local Nicaraguan community-based organization, to work collaboratively on community development through projects of education, nutrition, agriculture, health promotion, people-to-people cultural and educational exchanges, environmental health, and human rights. By cultivating relationships between our communities, we seek to move toward globalization based on respect, understanding, and diversity of perspectives and culture.
